Their farms span about 9.5 hectares within agroforestry systems in the Manu Biosphere Reserve — one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. Coffee has been grown here for over 50 years. The cooperative began operating in 2021, and since then farmers have increased production by an average of 10% annually with an 11% rise in income.
