Production Roaster / Bagging APPLY NOW
Pax & Beneficia is a specialty coffee roastery with multiple café locations across DFW. We roast on a Diedrich DR- 12 and source producer-forward green coffee with an emphasis on traceability and cup quality. We're looking for a Production Roaster / Bagger to execute daily production to a defined standard and keep fulfillment moving.
This is a hands-on execution role. Profiles and quality targets are set by our Head Roaster and Coffee Director.
What You'll Do
- Daily production roasting on the Diedrich DR-12, following established profiles in Cropster
- Maintaining the quality standard set by the Head Roaster - consistent and repeatable
- Blending our espresso and filter blends to spec
- Bagging, weighing, sealing, and labeling finished coffee
- Ensuring fulfillment has what it needs for café deliveries and ecom shipments on schedule
- Keeping the roast floor and packaging area clean and orderly
What We're Looking For
- Production or commercial roasting experience, drum preferred. Diedrich experience preferred
- Comfortable following a roast profile, not improvising on it
- Detail-oriented on weights, counts, and labels - fulfillment depends on you getting it right
- Reliable and consistent - you show up and the work gets done the same way every time
- Team player who communicates when something is off instead of pushing it through
Compensation
Competitive hourly, based on experience. Room to grow as you take on more of the production program.
